Pre-Marital and Marital

Whether your courtship is in its early stages or you have been married for many years, relationships are hard work and cycle between periods of highs and lows. Marital therapy is offered by therapists at the Center for Social Success both to enrich and/or remediate conflicts. Practical strategies to communicate, compromise, and solve problems are emphasized to strengthen and support both individuals in the relationship. We utilize the Prepare/Enrich Assessment in our pre-marital counseling to identify areas of strengths and areas for improvement in your relationship. Be Preventative! Don’t wait until you have problems to gain the tools needed to successfully navigate life’s ups and downs with your life partner.

Typical topics of discussion are:

  • Communication difficulties
  • Roles and responsibilities
  • Parenting disagreements
  • Blended family concerns
  • Unmet personal needs
  • Future goals
  • Financial stress
  • Intimacy concerns
  • In-law issues
  • Challenging children
